Welcome to the Springmead Parent Teachers Association (PTA) page.

Who is the PTA?

Springmead PTA are a proud and enthusiastic group of voluntary parents and staff whose mission is to raise funds and to create an inviting, supportive community to support the education and wellbeing of Springmead pupils. Our fun events raise vital funds for school equipment or experiences benefiting and enriching pupils school life whilst some activities are to simply bring our community together and create happy memories for every child in the school.

Every parent, carer, and staff member of Springmead is automatically a member of Springmead PTA. You get to decide how active you would like to be within our community. There is always opportunity to get involved whether that be through volunteering your time, ideas, or voice to spread PTA news. We have members who support by donating prizes for raffles or services from the companies they work for. Events

We have hosted fantastic events, including our extremely popular annual fireworks display, summertime Springmead Camp, adult quiz and race nights, raffles, children’s discos, scavenger hunts, nearly new uniform sales, after school doughnut/ice lolly sales plus much more!

We host a full calendar of events throughout the year, often revamping existing popular events or bringing in new event ideas.

We communicate our events via our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram, search ‘Springmead PTA’), word of mouth, school newsletter and our new portal on PTA-Events.

School Lottery

We have a weekly Springmead PTA Lottery with two weekly prizes; a national winner of £25,000 and a guaranteed Springmead School winner with a prize pot usually around £20 (the more players, the greater the prize pot!).

Tickets are £1 per week (minimum of 5 weeks). Results are drawn every Saturday at 8pm and shared on our Springmead PTA Facebook page. Our lottery is open to anyone so please pass this on to your friends and family.

Planning Meetings

We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once per year in January to elect the committee members for the year ahead. We generally hold meeting once per half term to plan events and discuss previous events held via Zoom calls. But we always try to plan in a few fun and sociable face to face meetings across the year too!

Fundraising Target

We will agree our fundraising target for 2026-2027 early on in the academic year so watch out for more information and ways you can help us achieve it!
